Joju George gives 100 newcomers a shot
Joju George's second film as director, Paripadi, features 100 new faces alongside Rajeev Ravi, Yuvan Shankar Raja and Anbariv.
Joju George is following Pani with Paripadi, bringing 100 newcomers into his second directorial venture, Manorama Online reports. The newcomers, found through auditions, went through a four-month acting programme before filming. Rajeev Ravi is behind the camera, Yuvan Shankar Raja makes his Malayalam debut as composer and Anbariv handle the action.
Joju also leads the revenge thriller, set in Chalakudy, which he plans as the second of three Thrissur-set films with no shared story or characters. The mix of unfamiliar faces and established technicians makes it a particularly interesting next move.
