Nirup Bhandari's character in Sathya: Son of Harishchandra is a Shivarajkumar admirer, and Nirup describes Shivanna's own involvement as organically connected to the story. "The protagonist in the film is conceived as an ardent fan of Shivanna, so weaving him into the story felt entirely organic," he said. The team shot its own portions first, then showed the footage to the star, who agreed to join.

Debutant director Sachin Vaali mixes family comedy with courtroom sequences, with Sai Kumar playing the father, Harishchandra. The film's fan connection has an actual place within its narrative.
